Before the football (soccer) game, Oslo's club fans drink and sing in one of the bars in Alesund. Drinking together before the game seems to be a uniquely Scandinavian custom. Everyone seemed to be very emotional, even friendly. Someone translated one of the songs sung by Oslo fans: "Alesund is the best friend in Norway, and the only one..."

Trollstigen- "Troll's Ladder" the road from the valley to the Trollstiggen pass.

Geirangerfjord, UNESCO World Heritage Site. If there is a picture-perfect fjord, it is Geirangerfjord- sheer walls with waterfalls seemingly everywhere, snowcapped mountains around it, farms clinging to the rocks midway between water, and snow and deep blue fjord in the center of it all.

Road to nowhere... Driving back down to Geiranger.

Djupvatnet- a mountain lake at the pass right before the turnout to Dalsnibba. It started raining right there, so we didn't go further up (as the mountain was blanketed in clouds, so the views were out of the question.
